TMS-EEG Core

Core Equipment

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

Our X100 MagVenture stimulator is capable of a wide array of stimulation protocols includes single pulse, paired pulse, and patterned (e.g. theta burst) stimulation, and can deliver bi-phased, or mono-phasic pulses. We have a B60 coil for delivering single pulses and identifying motor threshold, and a liquid-cooled B65 A/P coil which can be used for double blind delivery of variable-frequency rTMS protocols.

Neuronavigation

Our Brainsight 2 Neuronavigation system can be used for precise targeting and recording of TMS pulses, electromyography for motor threshold identification, and e-field modeling for target optimization via SimNibs.

Electroencephalography

Our 64-channel actiCHamp Plus amplifier from Brain Products can be run with active or passive electrodes and can record at up to 100kHz. It is also equipped with 8 auxiliary ports for simultaneous collection of peripheral physiological signals.

Eye Tracking and Pupillometry

Our Eyelink 1000 System from SR Research can be used to record both gaze location and pupil dilation at up to 2000 Hz and it set up for either fixed position recordings (with a chin rest) or with head position correction for free head movement.
