New preprint reports novel tools for inferring E-I ratios from EEG

We are very excited to announce a new preprint posted to bioRxiv from a collaboration lead by Dr. Arthur-Ervin Avramiea and Dr. Klaus Linkenkaer-Hansen at the Center for Neurogenomics and Cognitive Research in Amsterdam.

This work reports on novel tools for inferring the macroscale balance of cortical excitation versus inhibition in the dynamics of EEG signals, with clear relevance for a broad class of neurological and psychiatric conditions.
